Dr Jan McCloud Ph.D, BSc.Chief Operating Officer
Jan has been on the leadership team at TMC since 2008. Now as Chief Operating Officer, Jan brings more than 20 years of experience in Medical Writing, Clinical Operations and Global Communications, delivering award-winning projects and events for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Diagnostics industries.
Working closely with organisations such as Hologic, EONS, ESC and ESMO, and previous roles collaborating with Pfizer and Novartis, Jan has a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and opinion leaders from global healthcare organisations. Going beyond traditional service provision, Jan truly becomes an extended member of the client’s team, developing the ability to intuitively understand a client’s needs and deliver on commercial goals.

Holding a first-class honours degree, a PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neurophysiology, Jan has also previously been a lecturer at Glasgow University, where she taught aspiring students topics such as transplantation, atopic dermatitis and neurology.
