Following the success of the Business Tapas digital platform, empower local businesses within the Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) community to embrace the resources through a series of digital marketing workshops. Specifically equipping them with tangible skills and toolkits to help them accelerate their digital presence and achieve commercial objectives.

In line with brief: As an integral pillar and support network within their community, CWAC aims to provide practical help and guidance to local businesses through growth initiatives. The Council understands the nuanced challenges faced by their residents and facilitates the most effective solutions to relieve them, whether through funding or educational opportunities.

As many start-up and micro companies are launched within Cheshire West and Chester, CWAC focuses funding on how to best equip as many organisations as possible with the appropriate support.

The latest addition to a long-standing relationship and following the development of the Business Tapas platform, CWAC appointed TMC to deliver a series of free digital marketing workshops, leveraging the expert insight from their in-house team and providing the small businesses to engage in tailored activities and Q&A’s.

Our Solution

Workshop 1: Strategic brand building

Becoming a new player within an industry or niche can prove challenging, and smaller organisations can often perceive that there may be a requirement for large budgets to build out comprehensive strategies. To demystify this misconception, the first workshop revolved around the power of effective branding.

This workshop explored how building a brand can establish a unique value proposition and therefore effectively differentiate a company from competitors. Through activities on mission statements to distinctive identity pieces, an agenda with both theoretical and interactive elements was developed. Once tailored to the unique audience, the content was delivered to a wealth of businesses by senior Marketers within TMC

Having found success from the initial launch workshop, the next suite of content focused on more accessible and cost-effective digital marketing techniques. With such vast international audiences and imaginative targeting functionalities, social media provided the perfect series of platforms to explore in further detail with attendees.
